Charlie came close to death... Ammon threw something off the deck, it scared charlie and charlie dove off the deck meanwhile his leash was tied to the deck fence. Everyone rushed over, some of us ready to jump down. We expected to see charlie dangling from his leash, instead the leash was just long enough for him to touch the ground. PHEW! This was just within the first hour of us arriving.
We had an amazing BBQ, thanks for cooking Ammon and Jesica. Some yummy no-bake-cookies...(defiantly weren't Tomies no bakes, but they were still good enough for me to have 4 for breakfast the next day.) Jes, don't be offended you put down my peanut butter in the no-bakes idea. Just getting you back...
We had some lovely music by Ammon and Logan, great musicians. The cousins probably ran back and forth across the house AT LEAST 40 times the entire time we were there. lol Melody was so happy to get to see Emma.
On Sunday it rained and Jesica, Emma, Mel and I all got stranded at church because she didn't have her car keys. The boys had gone home after 1st hour with the babies, obviously plans weren't completely thought through. That's okay though, because in this time I was able to get some great advice from Jes after Melody made me cry. lol
All in all, it was a beautiful trip, at the Barker's beautiful home, with our beautiful family whom we are so grateful for their hospitality. Can't wait to do it again soon, one day I will be able to travel there on my own...one day.
HAPPY 8th BIRTHDAY CHARLIE BROWN!!!
Oh B-rad...
Summa teeth... sum over here and sum over there!
These last two photographs were taken at the art festival downtown. Thanks so much Jes and Am for taking me, I could have stayed there forever. They had so many beautiful pieces. These by far were my two favorite. Thank you so much for allowing me to take pictures.
